Some photographs and stitched panoramas from the Isle of Skye and the Scottish west coast. Unfortunately no wind for kite flying, apart from that the weather was stunning!

Picavet suspension test

Normally I wouldn't consider lifting a camera unless the sun is out but these dull conditions where perfect for testing a new Picavet suspension which I've added to my rig for stabilization. The resulting shots where consistently sharp, and the rig still folds away into the bottom of a rucksack no problem. Hopefully a huge help for low light conditions in future.

Gairloch beach

A couple photos from Gairloch beach in northwest Scotland. I have painted the kite line out of the first one. Despite very dull conditions and a lot of camera movement the image stabiliser seems to have kept things pretty sharp. Very pleased with my new camera and rig!
