The Tall Ships Race 2011 comes to Greenock


Kite photographs from the water alongside vessels taking part in the Tall Ships Race 2011 while at Greenock docks. Skilfully piloted by Dan Baxter, and assisted by Kieran Duncan who took the photo looking up at the kite.

The Falkirk Wheel


Here lifting a barge in mid rotation, the Falkirk Wheel connects the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal in central Scotland.

Sailing KAP


A great opportunity for some unusual kite photos from my brother's small yacht sailing off of the Scottish west coast. Sailing close to the wind created an even stronger apparent wind for kite flying, with the rare luxury of having some control over the speed and direction.

North Carr light ship


The North Carr was the last manned lightship in Scotland, now docked in Victoria Dock, Dundee.
